THE SHE MAY NOT HEAR IT ENOUGH, MANY OF THE STUDENTS WILL HAVE HER TO THINK AS THEY WALK ACROSS THE STAGE TO RECEIVE THEIR DIPLOMA.

THANK YOU TRUSTEE, SUPERINTENDENT, STAFF AND COMMUNITY FORGET IT'S MY PLEASURE TO RECOGNIZE NATIONAL HISPANIC HERITAGE MONTH TO HONOR THE CONTRIBUTIONS OF HISTORY, CULTURE AND POSITIVE IMPACT OF AMERICANS WITH ANCESTORS CAME FROM MEXICO, SPAIN, CARIBBEAN OR CENTRAL OR SOUTH AMERICA. THIS MONTH THE RECOGNITION OCCURS EVERY YEAR THROUGHOUT THE UNITED STATES BETWEEN SEPTEMBER 15 AND OCTOBER 15.

ALTHOUGH IN NATOMASUNIFIED, WE CELEBRATE AND EMBRACE OUR DIVERSITY ALL YEAR LONG.

THAT, DIVERSITY IS SUCH A PRIORITY IN NATOMAS UNIFIED THAT ARE BOARD OF TRUSTEES HAS A CORE BELIEF THAT SAYS OUR DIVERSITY IS A STRICT. RECOGNIZING OUR DIVERSITY IS WHAT MAKES A STRONG, NATOMASUNIFIED CONTINUES TO BE A LEADER IN THE ACHIEVEMENT OF OUR HISPANIC LATINO STUDENTS. FOR EXAMPLE, OUR GRADUATION RATE FOR OUR HISPANIC LATINO STUDENTS IN THE 2018/2019 SCHOOL YEAR WAS 94 PERCENT, SURPASSING THE STATE AVERAGE OF 81 PERCENT. ARE A THROUGH G RATE ON THE 2018/2019 SCHOOL HE WAS 64 PERCENT. ONCE AGAIN SURPASSING THE STATE AVERAGE OF 43 PERCENT FORGET AND AS YOU WILL HEAR IN ONE OF THE NIGHTS PRESENTATIONS, YOU HEAR BOTH OUR GRADUATION RATES IN AJI COMPLETION RATE CONTINUES TO GROW IN THE 2019/20 SCHOOL YEAR.

AND HISPANIC LATINO STUDENT POPULATION MAKES UP THE THIRD OF OUR ENTIRE STUDENT POPULATION WITH MORE STUDENTS CHOOSE SPANISH AS THEIR ELECTIVE FOREIGN LANGUAGE THAN ANY OTHER LANGUAGE. REALIZING THE VALUE OF BEING A LINGUAL IN A COMPETITIVE SOCIETY, 151 STUDENTS RECEIVED IN 2020 WITH ONE OR TWO SPECIFIC IN SPANISH.

THE PAST TWO WEEKS ALL SCHOOLS IN NATOMAS DISTRICT HAVE BEEN IN SESSION.

START WITH DISCOVERY HIGH SCHOOL, TEACHERS AND STUDENTS ARE EXCITED FOR THE NEW SCHOOLING FOR STUDENTS RECEIVED THE TASKS BOOKS AND THEY WILL BEGIN THE SCHOOL YEAR FOR THE PSENIORS ARE ESPECIALLY EXCITED THEY ARE READY TO PUT IN THE HARD WORK IN ORDER TO START OFF THEIR SENIOR YEAR OF STRONG. IN ROME HIGH SCHOOL HAD A GREAT START TO THE NEAR DESPITE THE CHALLENGE OF NOT BEING IN SCHOOL PHYSICALLY AND ATHLETICS HAVE BEEN VIRTUALLY AND IN PERSON AS PERMISSIBLE, OF COURSE. THE DAY BEFORE THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL THEY HAD THE VIRTUAL ORIENTATION FOR JUNIORS AND SENIORS IN JUST ABOUT 300 SENIORS DURING JOINT THROUGH THE PICKUP AT SUNRISE.

PLACE. A PHENOMENAL START TO THEIR STRANGE 2021 SCHOOL YEAR.

THE SCHOOL WOULD LIKE TO WELCOME THEIR SIXTH GRADERS THROUGH A VIRTUAL WEB ORIENTATION ON THE 24TH THEY HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO GO THROUGH BEFORE THE NEW SCHOOL YEAR TO THE SENIOR STUDENTS PARTICIPATED IN THE EVENING ON THE 24TH AND NATOMAS HIGH SCHOOL AT A SUCCESSFUL START TO LAUNCH THE NEW SCHOOL YEAR STARTING WITH THE IMPRESSIVE TURNOUT WITH THE KICKOFF TEXT CONTRIBUTION DRIVE THROUGH. AND HS STUDENTS PURCHASE Ã PARTICIPATED IN THE CLASS MMXXIV. ORIENTATION WITH OUR JUNIORS AND SENIORS. NATOMAS HAD AN IMPRESSIVE TURNOUT WITH THE DRIVE THROUGH AT SUNRISE. MANY OF OUR ATHLETIC TEAMS ENJOYED THEIR SUMMER WORKOUTS AND WILL NOT CONTINUE TO MEET VIRTUALLY. THERE SETTLING INTO THE NEW VIRTUAL TERRITORY WITH ASP AND CLASS ELECTION CAMPAIGNS AS WELL AS THE FOLLOWING ASP PERFECT ATTENDANCE DRAWING FOR THE FIRST FULL WEEK VIRTUAL SPIRIT WEEK.

NATOMAS MIDDLE SCHOOL STARTED OUT WITH AN AWESOME BEGINNING TO THE NEW SCHOOL YEAR.

THE SIXTH AND EIGHTH GRADERS HAD A ORIENTATION ON THE NIGHT PRIOR TO THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL. PARENTS AND SCHOLARS ARE ALSO PARTICIPATED.

AND THEN WE HAD IN THE YELLOW CIRCLE, THE STUDENTS THAT ARE Ã WE RECOGNIZE EVEN BEFORE DISTANCE LEARNING THEY MIGHT NEED SUPPORT AND INTERVENTION. AND THAT WOULD CONTINUE.

THAT WOULD HOLD TRUE EVEN WHILE WE WERE IN DISTANCE LEARNING.
